Get out of Afghanistan
Obama's push to move troops out of Afghanistan is a blessing. We are losing that war and doing nothing long term to revive that country. Instead, we needlessly lose billions of dollars on a crusade with no hope. I fear that the next president will fall for wasting our resources there. We must stand strong to get out of Afganistan and truly downsize our military in order to get our spending toward a balanced budget.

Don't Try to Open a Lemonade Stand
John Stossel makes an incredible point in his article about all the lengthy government rules to cover to open a lemonade stand in New York. Did you know complying with all regulations would take 65 days? My favorite is that legally you must register with the IRS for an Employer Identification Number. But there are so many other hoops you must navigate just to sell lemonade. No wonder our economy is tanking. The government is squeezing the life out of a lemonade stand. Forget undertaking any entrepreneurial ambitions.

Rising Gas Prices Delight Obama
David Harsanyi in reason.com captures a valid outlook when he quotes Obama's energy secretary saying "Steven Chu, Obama's (and, sadly, our own) future secretary of energy (sic) lamented, "Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe." The Left seems to think higher gas prices is the solution to our travails there. How is it that higher prices that pull money from the economy and put it in the pockets of our enemies could possibly fix anything? But Obama continues to keep his foot on oil companies and piplines from expanding so gas prices must inevitably go up and we experience a weaker economy.

Republicans Hand Obama Victory
Jamelle Bouie makes a fine point in the "American Prospect" that Obama has this election in the bag. And he does from the vantage point that when Republicans debate they inevitably reveal their disdain for women and hispanics. Not a good voting block to disregard. You see these people feel passionately about their beliefs and regard right wing Republican dogma as pure foolishness. Indeed, younger voters tend to share their outlook and see these hard hearted Republicans oppressing the needy. And I doubt these soundly harsh Republicans shall ever see any light. So their blight can only lead Obama to certain victory. That he actually deserves.

Home Prices are at a Screaming Buy
Chris Isadore at CNNMoney reports that home prices have now hit a ten year low. This when home sales seem to be picking up. A lot of the sales are due to foreclosures that get auctioned off by the bank for a big loss. All this adds up to one of the best investment opportunities of this generation. There are times when markets get so stretched down, that any money buying has huge long term rewards. This is that moment in real estate. In my book, "How to Build Wealth Easily" available on Amazon.com Kindle Books I make the point that the way to invest best is to buy rental homes as they afford income plus appreciation. Indeed, now is the moment to start buying rental homes because this opportunity shall not last. Due to population growth and immigration, home values will be recovering soon. So with mortgage rates way low, now is the time to start grabbing up as many rental homes as you can. As the economy strengthens, mortgage rates will be rising. So be sure to jump on this unusual upside now.

Global Warming is Hysterical
Matt Patterson in FoxNews addresses why global warming is so damaging. He states: "In fact, global warming is the most widespread mass hysteria in our species’ history." He goes on to quote highly regarded scientists who question the reality of global warming. He quotes
Ivar Giaever, a Nobel Prize winning physicist, resigned from the American Physical Society (APS) over that organization’s climate change orthodoxy.
In his resignation letter to APS, Giaever lambasted the society’s public stance that global warming is an incontrovertible fact:
“The claim (how can you measure the average temperature of the whole earth for a whole year?) is that the temperature has changed from ~288.0 to ~288.8 degree Kelvin in about 150 years, which (if true) means to me is that the temperature has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this ‘warming’ period.”
So why do so many still cling to the hope of climate change catastrophe? The scientists offer their own view in the Journal:
“Alarmism over climate is of great benefit to many, providing government funding for academic research and a reason for government bureaucracies to grow.”
This of course is Obama's dream. For government to be bigger and assume a controlling power over business and life. Drive away jobs as he stops the Keystone Pipeline as this causes global warming to worsen. But the reality expressed here speaks persuasively that global warming is a hoax and it is time to move on to reality.

Obama's Voodoo Economics
Leighton Steward in the "Washington Times" makes the point that Obama's denial of the Keystone Pipeline presents serious blindness that severely damages unemployed American desperate for a job. He states that Obama is on a silly journey trying to end the Pipline to avoid excess CO2 emissions. How true. After seeing scientists fabricate evidence recently to show that CO2 is damaging the enviorment, there is not much support for the weakened war on CO2. Fact is there is not sound scientific evidence that CO2 emmission are doing any damage to the enviroment. But Obama never let science get in the way of his ongloing opposition to business and jobs. He continues to hold onto any Marxist scheme he can find to shut down business and jobs in America.
